I don't know why they can offer such high odds.

To lay a bet, you are betting against the win.

For example, Liverpool Vs Chelsea. In a normal bookies you can bet Chelsea to win, Liverpool to win or for the game to end in a draw. At betfair, you can bet on either team to loose, which is not the same as the other team winning. If the other team wins, you win, if it ends in a draw, you win.

You can also bet between two people and choose your own odds.

I find it's a bitch to find what bets you still have open.

Betfair is complicated. I use it sometimes you don't always get the odds you ask for and they have minimum bets.

I don't like it personally. The only reason i use it is because they accept paypal. For when i have dreggs left in my account i switch it over for a bet.

So if you had put your 3 quid on at Betfair you would of won. Good tactics from Chelsea. Better luck next time.

I like betfair for the way they let your account be used on various things from horses to poker. Some places like willyhill don't let you do that.

I created an account for the Grand National and managed to struggle through it, It now wants id off me to use all its features.
