I should go have mine checked out.

i know its high , as the day after a few beers , i i can tell when i bend down to pick something up and go all dizzy.

Its the same with me, drink and being a little over weight, i am tackling the drink by not drinking mon, tue, wed, thur. But seem to make up for it Fri , Sat, Sun.

I need to get out and do more exercise though.

I have high blood pressure (10 years), diabetes(22 years) and smoke(40 years)

      Not dead yet

I take Ramapril, Natrilix and Simvastatin every day, it's wonderful.

My blood pressure is only high when I am in the UK, when I am in Greece it's fine for the most part.

Contributing factors could be:- proximity of wife, lack of sunshine, no fresh fish.

It is not a thing to think twice about Zap. I have had a triple bypass ten years ago after I had two heart attacks. When in doubt see a doctor. Just don't accept any old medicine, if you think it is not working get it changed.

Heart condition doesn't 'just happen', there are loads of warnings. It is very difficult for a doc to know the difference between a heart attack and severe indigestion.

I'l tell you a wee story about my doctors visit. (I know I do go on) I felt extremely ill and went to the doc. He sent me home with Gaviscon for indigestion. When I was on the bus on the way home and saw what it was I nearly cried. Back to the main story. When my wife came home from work she asked how I got on. I told her I thought there was something reall 'big' wrong with me. Just as I was speaking the phone rang. My wife said it's the doctor for you. The doctor(he taken a blood sample at the surgery) told me I had a a heart attack and there was an ambulance on its way.

What did I do? I ran up the stairs to get my pyjamas etc.

Incidentally I had two friends who ignored the symptoms that I had. They both dropped dead in the street. One of them ran marathons and was apparently as fit as a fiddle.

Stop me if I go on again about injuries and illnesses. I have more stitches than a balaclava.

Omega is good for the treatment of high blood pressure.

You will get a lot of that in Greece. It will be in your alphabet soup.

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I do not know the answer.

Same here m8. The smokes killed my dad too. He was quite fit but had a heart attack at 53 was told to cut out smoking but carried on having sly ones when no one was around to nag him. Unfortunately he died of a massive heart attack only 2 weeks after his 54th Birthday.
The docs said it was due to the ciggies. Pack em in Zap. Some people smoke 60 a day and have done for years without any affect. These are exceptions to the rule m8.

                      THE TRUTH
                      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

Zap you need to take your eyes off the babes on the beach and get yourself oot walkin or something this might keep you oot the boozer and cut doon on the fags. I'm preachin but I need to do the same even though I don't drink and don't have a pad on the beach.

Don't rush into the exercise*, do it gradually. Start of by going to the fridge yourself for every second can.

                            * If you want to exercise or diet do it under the doctors advice. Most diets you see are for really obese people and could harm a normal person. I don't believe I am writing this, normal?
