when at my mums today we were disucssing guy motors as my dad used to work for them before it became leyland. my dad died nearly 22 years ago but my mum still has a few things from guy motors ie
a goldy coloured ceramic tankard with the symbol on it
a jaguar for the front of a car
a jaguar ashtray (its a heavy ~~~~er) but in perfect nic
an indian head that was a radiator badge like this
Google Image Result for http://www.localhistory.scit.wlv.ac.uk/Museum/Transport/commercial/Guy/IndianChief.jpg
that indian head was mounted on a wooden frame etc. i just wondered if any of them would be worth anything nowadays. my sister said someone in her work said the ashtray was worth around ?800 now but im not sure if they were extracting the urine!!!
any help/advice appreciated
