so just so add to the confusion to help or hinder, i guess as her mom married this guy, she is entitled to still call him her "Stepdad" rather than "The guy who married her late mom"

Thats another story we dont even know if this other woman has kids i assume she will have her husband died years ago so im pretty sure they would have a say in the matter also
