i was just listening to a song on you tube when my gf came in and said this is a russian song about a man who steals from the rich and gives to the poor she says the song is 400 years old hmmm who gives a shit ... i like it now ~~~~ off!!

hmmm never heard that one on my trips to russia, will ask next time I get mugged on the moscow metro, has only happened twice so far, oh and I was robbed at two different hotels by the staff... never saw any ~~~~er that looked like a robin ~~~~in hood anywhere... Though I did get arrested by the cops (who wear a greenish uniform) for reporting and suggesting a russian had done it, then got robbed again (had to bribe the cops) to get away. Don't you just love folklore...

Good song, a wee bit older than 1968 I think. I would reckon more around 1965. Definately not 400 years ealier. Tell your G/f they did not have electric guitars back then. You got that from a reliable source.
