Hi all, new member.
I am looking to move from my digivox cable box (good)
and my starview (rubbish) to 2 dreambox 500c's.
I have a few questions before i take the plunge though.
1: How easy are these to set up? Is there a step by step tut anywhere?
2: i realise that these boxes can connect to the webbernet to download new stuff, but is there a browser plug in available? it would be great if i could surf the web on my 47".
3: Do these boxes auto update the keys?
4: whats the epg like? Ive been searching all morning and cannot find an image/video of it in action..
5: when you scan for channels on my digivox/starview, most are correctly named, annoyingly though, about 10-15 channels simply show as TV717 or something similar and I have to manually rename them. Does drambox have this fault?
Can I apolopgise in advance for all these questions? Here i am a totally new user and all i'm doing is sayings "tell me this"! "tell me this too"! :-)
If i buy these though, I am the sort of person to tinker and find out loads of stuff, so hopefully in the future i will be ablt to help others.
