Some time ago - we will just say it was more than 15,421 posts ago i was working on a rare ish motor car, i noticed the main positve for the ignition switch had become slightly chaffed on a bit of body work, but as i was in a strop that day and it came in for something else, decided it had been like it for YEARS - so left it as it was instead of insulating it.
The next week the car came back with a problem with the work i had done - it was partly my fault - but at that time i was in the right it was something else that caused a problem - anyway - she was a right bitch about it - sorted it sent on her way.
eight months later see the car in the local body shop 'dead' section with smoked out windows.
never had any come back on it, nothing was said so stuff them.
Again sometime agao more than 15,421 posts ago i did a job on a car, week later see it burnt out in the 'dead section' - the key was still in the ignition so i guess the bloke was driving it at the time - he had just brought it - but no way was it down to me - nice guy shame it happened.
About 4000/5000 posts ago had a right nasty tawt in moaned about the bill needed his car back asap.
5 days later was at the end out the road with interior burnt out - was soo tempted to ring him up and say "Curtoisy call, how is your car doing"
was going to whip off the part had just fitted under the hood, but thought better of it.
