    ?Faker? to pay back benefits

FAKEDANCER Fred Bowers ? exposed by The Sun for claiming disability benefit while dancing on Britain?s Got Talent ? has offered to PAY BACK the cash like MPs.

Fred, 73, insisted he still deserves his weekly ?70.35 Disability Living Allowance and ?49.10 Motability cash for a car. This is on top of his state pension.

A Department of Work and Pensions probe is underway.

And Fred last night said if the investigation did uncover wrongdoing, he would reimburse the state. Fred, of Sutton Bonington, Notts, even claimed dancing had helped his leg get better.

He is set to perform his acrobatic spins and amazing rolls in Thursday?s ITV1 semi-final.

He said: ?Dancing improved my leg, I didn?t know it was going to cure it. When I first claimed I could hardly walk.

?This could have ruined my chances of winning Britain?s Got Talent.

?To be honest, I want shot of my Motability allowance and I don?t care if they stop my Disability Allowance.

?I think I know who reported me, they are just envious.

he must have been getting dla for years as you can only get it if you are under 65. wish the papers would highlight housing benefit though as thats a much bigger problem than peeps claiming dla and incapacity benefit. some people are getting ?800+ a month in housing benefit alone - plus council tax paid.

when we take claims on the phone if people dont have a landline they ask us to call them back on their mobiles. i get this several times a day and bear in mind a new claim can take over 30 mins. bloody fortune wasted in that believe me. translators theres another one.

    oops im ranting sorry

I agree Lainie. I think we should interview the Council and the Inland Revenue before we pay Council Tax and Income Tax.

        Well said Lainie.

I know a few people who claim and dont deserve it.

But what can we do about it if the goverment cant police it properly.
