There has to be someone somewhere that shares your interest CM. Best of luck. Nobody is unique except for maybe Pumpy who requires a jock strap made on an airport runway.
I can't wake up Grumpy now in case I am accused of Dwarfism

i lost mine in my divorce.
i was more into freshwater though because it was always easier to keep stocked.

i miss my electric blue lobsters, i stupidly introduced those crayfish into a community tank (6"er) and it devoured everything.
i also had a 4" spieces tank that i used for malawi cichlids.

my marine was a nightmare on upkeep in comparison to my spieces and community fresh tanks.

i looked into a Kreisel tank to stock jellyfish at one point but they seemed way out of my budget. id love to keep jellies but the prohibitive cost and the severe dedication required is always offputting.

          I thank you.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I do not know the answer.

I got nothing but debt, all i got left with after the divorce was my dog and the clothes on my back.

Its all just money though and thats easy to come by. i left everything to my stepdaughter, figured she shouldnt have to suffer for her mothers stupidity. i walked away without even documents to prove i exist, no license, birth cert, passport. nothing.

Ive got a shitty old cameraphone pic of one of my lobsters though.

I should have just went with prostitutes, i would have gotten more sex and it would have cost me less in the long run

long story short, i loved a woman who never really existed, i woke up in bed one morning next to a complete stanger and found out everything id been told for 5+ yrs was a complete fabrication. seems true that you only really know two things about a person, what you want to know and what they want you to know. sometimes theres no truth in either.

Lesson learned though, like the waterboys mom says "WIMMIN ARE THE DEVIL BOBBY BOUCHER, THE DEVIL!"
The only part that really got me was the fact that my stepdaughter had to suffer through her moms third divorce.

It was a spieces of Crayfish specificaly Procambarus Alleni and i managed to grow it out to just under a foot. It hid under some bogwood after it molted for the 3rd time, i found the casing and thought it was dead.
A few days later it reappeard from under the bogwood and gave me a fright.
Normaly the things eat their molted shells so thats what made me think it was dead.
Proven to be damed good with keeping down snails, i had a heavy infestation of snails at one point and this thing decimated the entire population (along with everything else in the tank) they are predominantly detrivores (they'll eat ANYTHING, plant, animal, slime, algae plastic grass, lead weights, rubber hose etc)

It was freshwater, i think its native habitat are a few rivers in Florida but im not entirely certain.
Feed it brineshrimp or krill and they get really bright.

Man, i miss keeping fish, my first tank was a 3" job and i kept Corydoras exclusively and used to spend weeks trying to identify the little idiots in terms of species cassification, singularly or even paired they're quite boring, add in a dozen and man do they get playful and really active. (if theres not an adequate endorphin release in the water they seem to get depressed)
They're also bomb proof like zebra danios (the rambo fish, nothing can kill it) so theyre very good for cycling a tank prior to introducing anything less than rambo.

Arrowana's tend to get BIG, like nine footers, they're also weak predators, in that if youve got anything agro in the tank then it will wind up losing the fight, it also eats any fish small enough to fit in its mouth. They also like to jump so make sure theres no openings in your hood cause theyr'e smart enough to aim for daylight.
Set up a tank with several Guppies to cycle the tank and breed easily to give you an initial foodsource, once theres a good ammount of new fry introduce the Arrowana, live food is good initialy (it will cut down on the stress of getting a new home and build up its strenght from being "misstreated" at the pet shop) eventualy it will get used to the flakes to feed the Guppies and once all the guppies are gone it should be fed on only flakes with the occasional brineshrimp, bloodworm or krill treats to up its protien intake.

This will also lessen its agressiveness so you should be able to introduce larger community fish without too much worry (just avoid Convict Chichlids)

Snakeheads are mental, my friend tried to keep one and it got BIG, too big for the tank and decided to start ramming the sides till it toppled over in the night. He thought he was getting burgled from the nose of his tank shattering.
They're nightmarishly aggressive so any chance of introducing it into a community tank is doomed from the get go.
He fed it on all sorts from goldfish to hamsters theyre bloodhungry so bear this in mind. I've had no real experience with them other than my friends horror stories and him crying into his pint over his wasted tank.
Just make sure and buy some powerfull powerheads to give them something to swim against and keep them busy.
