I took my family to the Cruin by Loch Lomond last Xmas and it was outstanding, nice wooden interior, not tightly packed like some resteraunts ive been to and the georgeous views over Loch Lomond.

I took my mom, dad, brother, his gf, and two cousins and it set me back ?320quid thats 4 courses, drinks and a tip (others at the table tossed in on the tip though so i might have skimped there) if i recall it was only like 25 to 30 a head.

Anyway it was awesome, wake up in the morning, open pressies, meet up at the resteraunt, eat up, converse, have a few drinks then go home and totaly relax.

The Cruin Bar & Restaurant - Loch Lomond is their site, and we sat in this room

Like i said, totaly magic and the food was outstanding. i had this filet of beef and it totaly melted in your mouth, im drooling just thinking back.

Oh yeah and Santa dropped in for the kids too and dished out presents making it all the more special.

From Paisley just hop over the Erskine and head down the A82, head for Luss and its just off the road before you get to the Helensburgh/Luss roundabout. From the Erskine, driving it would take me roughly 35mins especialy on christmas day with the complete lack of traffic. Its pretty Much a straight shoot.
