THE breakdancing pensioner from Britain?s Got Talent has had his benefits slashed after being exposed by The Sun.
Fred Bowers, 73 ? dubbed the Fake Dancer ? amazed viewers with his body-popping displays, which included spinning on his head.
But we revealed ex-soldier Fred was claiming benefits because of a bad leg at the time.
Now the Department for Work and Pensions has stopped a ?50-a-month motability allowance to pay for his car.
And he could also be stripped of his ?70-a-week disability benefit.
Fred, of Sutton Bonnington, Leics, claims he has dance bookings every day of the week. But he insisted: ?I?m not a benefits cheat. I just wanted to show elderly or disabled people can do something amazing. The pain in my leg doesn?t affect my dancing.?
