Try a tarceroute to DK form your computer, probably

tracrt www.digital.kaos.co.uk

from the command line since you'll likely be using Windows. It will either trace most of the way or not, and it will also indicate whether you have any DNS related issues etc

I wish I could but my ISP has a really stupid system for DNS - which doesn't fail any DNS lookup, no matter how stupid like:

over a maximum of 30 hops:

Now in reality that DNS lookup should fail with a message something like "No domain name lookup or hostname not found" - however my ISP has decided that it will not fail and so the server at the above IP will tell me I have typed the name wrongly. I'd rather they didn't, but I'm only their customer - why shoudl I have a say in it


Needless to say

If your DNS cannot resolve the DNS of DK it will tell you when you type that command with something like "No domain name lookup or hostname not found"

If for some reason the IP address that is 'handed' to you by your DNS server has the wrong IP for DK, or if you have a local hosts entry overriding DK's domain name/IP) it will become obvious.

Can't do much more without handing out IP's, which we shouldn't do.
