government cut their own throat when they stopped building council houses. now councils etc pay a bloody fortune to private landlords as there are no council houses to place people in. ive know ive mentioned this before but honest to god you have no idea the number of people claiming benefit where their rent is the best part of ?1000. thats ?1000 every month they are getting paid for them. this is not just families the majority are under 25 yrs old and no longer want to live with mummy and daddy.

i do hope they dont build any council houses by me.. i live in a nice area.. i dont want it brought down by benifit cheats and old washing machines in the front garden

I hope all the council houses are being built for redundant bankers.

The councils should not have allowed the sale of old folks council houses. We now have thousands of old people sitting in a large house and the council have no small houses to put them in. We have people adding extensions to houses built to accomodate single or married old people.
