In relation to paint I would think thickness greater than or equal to 2/10th of a millimetre. Sorry Ber, got home late

can i add my 2pence worth
ok here in the land of the leprechaun we have glass thats recyclable and non yada yada
so we bring our re stuff to the bins to be used again the other stuff like window pains dg units all non recyclable glass the basads charge us to take away
then they crush it and re crush it to t ≥ 200 ? m sell it to the national road network as underlay for roads so the bin company are quids in init
