i once did this working in n*tional s*vings. got the go ahead from management etc and made a xmas cd called

"noo this is what we call christmas"

with the fav christmas songs as per replies to my email to the glasgow, durham and blackpool cic's in n*tional s*vings. i made over ?500 for charity - selling them at ?3 per cd but most peeps gave me ?5. ended up a lot of work for me as i did them all myself but it was worth it.

This has every other song in the thread, nay universe beat. Its the only honest song in the thread. No pretentious bullshit. What other lovesong do you find the lyrics "you ain't a beauty, but hey, you're all right?" A song that trancends the youth barrier and makes you feel that your never too old to get it on and embark on an adventure, to leave behind all the drugery and tedium of everyday life.
A song about two hurt lost souls making a move towards something better.

The only tune in the entirety of the universe that puts the biggest grin on my face whilst bringing tears to my eyes.

Meh, ive heard a lot of music but this is the only track thats been consistently on my playlist. To me at least its a complete timeless classic and one of the few songs i could stick on repeat and hear for days without getting bored of.
