How to approach a girl i like.

Hi, A bit of a poser for people any advice welcome. Basically there is this girl at work who i really like and i see some signs that she quite likes me too but to be completely truthful am too nervous to do anything for fear of rejection and social awkwardness if i am wrong as we do work together. I did actually do a foolish thing and mesaged her via facebook ( i can hear the sighs already ) asking her if she would like to go out on a date at easter and she did reply saying that she was currently seeing somebody. this made returning to work awkward briefly but she assured me that she was not offended by it and all has settled down. Since then i still get signs that that she is interested she constantly playfights with another colleague particularly when i am around, she has started coming outside during breaks which she never did before and always seems to listen when i speak and always laughs when i say something stupid even if it isn't that funny. When speaking to other people i always get the sense if i am near that she is seeking me out with her words as she is speaking to somebody else but constantly looking in my direction to see if i can hear. i frequently catch her looking at me but she looks away when i notice etc etc. The problem is she is quite a naturally shy girl and if i am honest because i genuinely like her and i know she is shy i really do not know what to do next. We have had a lot more interaction since i first foolishly asked her out and i feel it has been a bit of a feeling out process on her behalf but..............and therein lies the problem, the but..........:/
Anyway enough rambling, has anybody any advice in this area because i just do not know.

i don't know the gal obviously she could be a teaser (cock tail 7 sets of glasses teaser) not saying she his but some like attention lots of it, I would play it cool with her go on like you are doing, if she wants you she or you will get her somewhere down the line, just play it cool with her you have made yer move she knows the crack now with you when you asked her out, you have done enough now on that score, she said shes seeing another guy well if she splits with him i am sure she will let you know, but at the end of the day i know i have said this before just play it cool great believer in that, its her move now if she wants you... and last place yer want a showdown its at work or on that stupid Facebook thing.. kinda hanging yer washing out ter dry for everyone ter see/read at work etc and on line

I was in a similar situation at work about 10 years ago. I asked if she wanted a cup of tea. She said no. I ended up shagging her. Twice. She weren't all that. Hope this helps.

She is deffo interested. As Jaws says, play it cool, especially with the dating side. I wouldn't ignore her, I would talk to her every opportunity, about anything... Pets, favourite things, pop stars...the weather ffs. Show her you like talking to her. Laugh her into bed, if your saying she laughs at your not so funny jokes, carry on with them. Perhaps your naturally witty. When the time is right, and you both overcome shyness because your talking shite and not asking for a date yet, let it happen. You could be on to a winner if her other relationship ends. If it does end, just ask her 'Will you take it up the shitter?' Girls like that.
