Streaming RTS with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7" 8GB WiF

I dont know if this ist the right forum for this question.

My wife bought one of these

and wanted to watch the stream on

It works on my laptop (Linux/Ubuntu) but when I try on the surfboard it wants to use Google
I guess there is some setting on the surfboard to make it open the stream.
In Ubuntu I use VLC to play the stream.
