As many of us know, there is a quite frustrating aspect of closing an account with another airtime provider, which is often forgotten among the excitement of moving to GiffGaff, and taking advantage of the deals they offer; the issue of the remaining credit on your old account. All airtime providers have rules in place that don't allow PAYG customers to get that cash back easily, and most of us will handle this in one of two ways:


1. Write off the credit
2. Use the credit up quickly (and often frivolously) before the account is closed

There are, however, a number of other options which most people never even consider, including donating the credit to charity, or using it up in a more practical way than just quickly spending it. Below is a list of some of these options:
