There's one thing about the site I don't like. It's the way it forces you to change your password every 90 days. I don't think it's necessary and if you want to change your password you should just do it manually in the settings. I've never been on any other internet site or forum that's ever forced you to do this, it's completely unnecessary, and for tapatalk users a real pain.
What would you like to see on Digital Kaos?

I personally think a few sections need a make over.
The PC advisor section, id like to see it more split up, maybe a hardware section where users can ask opinions, on maybe overclocking, hardware faults etc.
The console section needs to be updated to cover the new generation of consoles, Xbox Pne, PS4 etc
Personally, id like to see a dedicated section for steaming/IPTV, XBMC has its own sub forum, in andriod section, maybe its own section?
Just my thoughts

Maybe also a photography section, but also include photoshop and graphic manipulation section. Here members could request some sort of Graphic being made or edited.
I know GMB had a thead in general chat for images of his PT walkssigpic

Curb resource stagnation.
A way for members to send users who upload, a PM requesting a password, even if their mailbox is full.
A "No one is home" button like the "thanks" one which lets members point out the uploader is non commutative. That would save visiting the last page of the tread to try and guess if they're still active.
Or the forum could change the way downloads work, like some other forums where members share their download passwords with mods to record in some deep encrypted dungeon and retrieved when the time comes ... it helps stop a pile up of "stagnant" rot.Comment

People would not have full pm if they wernt donkeys and PASSWORDED stuff they have leeched.
my inbox is left full as it stops people asking me about I growing toe nails and dead cats stuck up trees

Well going offtopic.
Yeah Meathead, it just seems to be the way things are in some areas of the net. I can understand using a rar, it makes sense too, as well as a not so informative file naming method, it's to stop the copyright hounds snooping around file servers trying to remove material "they" don't want out there for free.
However, in my experience, there are a lot of "resources" (in general) which are in placers inhabited by uploaders who upload to sites where either, they get paid per for the download (and typically no password ) or there are those sites where the seems to be some reward system linked to "thanks." Thank goodness for the few sites where most people are willing to share for the sake of sharing. Then of course every once and a while you trip up over places that "look" like they have something, ... but no amount of banging away really gets much in return ... and at some point you realise it's just a harvesting site for whatever legitimate real deal files you might share ... which sucks, but that's better than a fake honeypot site which is more about hacking the computer to track what sites are bing utilised. {Yes, that's happened to me once, back when I used to spend a lot of my online time in the early 00s finding hard to get drivers etc for requests on some computing forum}
... and I thought everyone grew toenails, presuming they had toes. :

I think the option to tag people on posts or threads may be a good idea. so for instance if your username is tagged you receive an email notification with a link to the post or thread.
Example:
" Happy Birthday Meat-Head have a great day "
Meaty gets email notification telling him he has been tagged on a thread clicks the link lands in DK land and posts something encrypted back which takes me time to get my head around and figure it out
Not sure if its something that could be built in to a forum structure though but could be good even getting the attention of some users we don't see around as much anymore.
