That takes skill, ride a bike, shoot somebody, at the same time your mate is shooting the same bloke in the same place.

            OFF TOPIC:-

Here in meat-city every summer there is some kind of fight round here, tonight somebody got bottled in t neck.

By the sounds of the area I'd leave no 23 alone, he's probably got a side number in burning the evidence!!
Prehap the next house you buy would be better if you moved 1 mile (2 from current location) in the opposite direction
Instead of drive-by shooting, it'll be a dial a candlelit dinner and cocktail bars and posh gardens

Ha,cheers ifred,if only I had the money for that kind of lifestyle it would be nice!Untill mr Camelot tips up I will have to keep my faith in my trusty slaters hammer under the bed to keep the nastys at bay....(and come to think of it there was a funny kind of smell coming from his chimney the other day, like a porky kind of smell)

Best of luck to yourself and the missus in your new house jc.

Have you considered a swap house in war torn Cambodia?

It might be a bit quieter.

Now that sounds bloody lovely to me mate,we had a great chance to buy a cottage a few years back,a bit small but it was next to a riding school, the walls were three foot thick stone(I know this cos friends of ours own the cottage on the other side of the school)but the mrs said a big no.The reason? Cos it would be too dark on a night time....I could still punch mrs grumbles for that one...and thanks, ive got new heating going in shortly then the woodburner after weve saved up a bit!

For years I always said I would love to live out in the country. Now working in Somerset I stay in a wee village called Holford..... all there is in Holford is a pub/ inn, no shops, post office, no other pub and I stay in that one pub . Being from a town with 13 pubs, bookies, shops etc. Definitely took some getting used to but the countryside is beautiful and I've adjusted to it. Would be easier I guess if I drove but still nowhere is walking distance but going to learn to drive... finally haha seen wee bird (friend ) shes been good at picking me up things when I was run down with the flu and good for days evenings out. Country lifestyle I've learnt nice but need to be able to drive or have a 'friend'
