Was over that way on the bike yesterday for a quick couple of hundred mile round trip - had been a while since I took the bike up there . Stokesley through to Helmsley road is in a real sh*t state now. They closed it a few years ago for 2 weeks to resurface it. Not small potholes but ones that could swallow the local sheep whole. I think they need to drag the company back and make them to it again.

I reckon the Helmsley to pickering road would be fun,lots of long turns and ive never seen many bobbies on it. mind you ive went sideways in cow***** a few times on roads just like it,was still fun tho...
