pumpy great place to go the kids will absolutely love it. i have stayed in the quality inn plaza and its sound. to be honest most of the hotels are fairly similar - at least in terms of layout.

see if you can price the homewood suites - you may pay a little more but you get free breakfast, and an assortment of food, beer and wine weekdays between 5-7 (free - or at least built into the price).

Disney is good but if your kids are getting into the teens they may well prefer the universal parks. the 5 park flexticket is excellent value. you get a free bus to busch gardens which is absolutely top notch if you like the roller coasters.

used to find travel city direct very competitive for prices but now that virgin own them not sure if they are still as reasonable.

it will cost more to get to Orlando but is truly as cheap as chips once you arrive. food is brilliant and its about half what you pay here for twice the meal.

well worth it mate you wont be disappointed.

      Thanks for that bugaloo.

Soon as I mentioned Orlando to my lad he started on about the Simpsons and Jurassic Park rides at Universal.
Got to say not one person ive talked to who's been to Orlando has got a bad word about it.
All this is probably going to be for next year like, I think once its booked yer can get down to the serious business of saving for it.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I do not know the answer.

i went about 6 yrs ago. stayed at the best western movie land opposite wet n wild. was ok. i personally found the i-ride rubbish. waited 30 mins for one to come along and then it was full!! drive if you can. wal mart etc quite a bit out the road from i drive and taxis were dear. i drive is 7 miles long so that may give you a better idea of where to stay there.

my friend has been 7 times and they drive. they got 2 teenage kids and she loves a bargain. will pm you when i get home.

Just got back from the travel agents, got a price for the Quality Inn Plaza in the 6 week hols next year, if we go 2 weeks earlier (in school time) its ?800 cheaper. That would pay for the park tickets.
No wonder lots of family's take their kids out of school.

We always stay in a rented villa, if there's 4 people you can get a villa with private pool for the price of a hotel room, you do need a car, but most people have cars there anyway
