    anyone know about dhss stuff ?

    my daughter has taken a year out after passing her a levels before she goes to teaching ,

    the wife got her a small dinner lady job to get her into the school so she she can ad to cv or something ,

    l was wondering if its only peanut pay can her still claim alittle ?

    anyone know .. cheers

        you can only get benefits while in education.

        if you take a year out and is working part time your not allowed to have tax credits, or claim child benefits.

        i know as the missus works for the Scum..

          so the dole wont make her money up then ? ie if the doles 45 a week and this job is 30 does she lose money

              what age is she??

              will pm you when i get back from hols. she can work up to 15 hrs a week and still claim jobseekers allowance if she is 18. im not sure re child tax credit as its dealt with hmrc and im dwp but from speaking to peeps on the phone it can be paid up till the child turns 20.
