Alarm cable staple bill

Hi all i am not sure which section to post this but here goes i will keep unnecessary details out as to keep it as simple as possible

I was doing a job for a local social club tidying up all their cables etc and i accidentally stapled through the alarm cable to the pir i tried to repair it myself but it seems a fuse had blown in the main panel and the company had to be called out to replace the fuse and them replace about 4 foot of cable with a junction box now the social club have said the bill has arrived and it is ?380

i am in shock as to the cost of this and i am refusing to be paid as i find the cost way to much for the job

any advice much appreciated and also what is the general cost of such work i was expecting ?100 maximum and that i was over inflating so i would not be shocked when the bill did come

My unwanted weird friend, for the misfortune of his presence ?130/half hour, but if he coming from anywhere in Ingland same price. Not sure if that + VAT.

Then you have arrived at a good place
suggest maybe they made a mistake should be ?38 sounds about right for swapping a fuse and 4 foot of cheap telephone wire.
Did you not know alarm salesmen are related to double glazing salesmen. Extortionate charge for finding the postcode
Tell the club to flog the alarm system and get a fierce dog, more effective and cost only dog food!
