    Building Myself A New Pc

    First bit arrived today

    My case


    Now ive just gotta wait to get my quad core stuff and a fancy motherboard i can get a fair bit of work done with existing stuff but it will be upgraded as i go along

    Cant wait to get it up and running

      My specs are m8

      Q6600
      4 gb 1066 ddr2.
      Nvidia 280gtx
      2x500gb 32mb cache on a raid 0 (stripe)

      Runs fast an very well under win 7 x86

        how do you go about building a pc im intrigued?

          Well 1st off you will need the case and motherboard, then mount the board inside the case.

          Sure there will be vids on youtube on how to do this

          Then everything practically only goes in 1 way round, the CPU orientation also with some thermal paste between the chip an heat sink, thats pratically it.

            I will search you tube then and have a look, wheres best for parts and stuff like thta im really crap with the fundementals of computers

              Thats the theory anyway

              try workin in a pc shop and weird stuff starts to crop up

                I have m8, laptops are best for wierd and wonderfull problems .


                I was trained on apple macs about 13-14 years ago, so most stuff fell out og my head now.

                      dont make the mistake i made. i build myself a beast and put system fans all over the place just for safe keeping. the humming does get annoying

                      get it running 64 bit so much faster!!!

                          Aria is good place to look as well. Water cooling will stop any noisy fans.
