i have just seen the news on the latest discussions for bail out for Grease
and the statements some of the member states leaders are putting forward
for them to stay in the EU and terms they need to meet, and can they be trusted
to make repayments, then i found this posted; add htt in front of the hs

Yes they do. However the saying "If you owe your bank ?100 pound then you have a problem. If you owe your bank ?384 billion then the bank has a problem" rings very true at this point. I do believe that the Greek government have done as much as they could given the circumstances to tell the bankers (the EU) that they will run their country the best that they can for the people of Greece. Having the referendum was a smart move by the Greek government, in that it gave the EU 2 choices, take what we offer next or you'll get something when we feel we can afford it, not when you want it. However the Greek government have done what they could, with the realisation that they should pay and need help, to make the best of a very bad situation, left for them by the previous government. For the Greek people electing another government would probably make the situation worse.

As above, though the Greek government haven't been able to stick to their election promises, they have done the best they can to avoid collapse without completely bowing down to the EU by taxing and taking even more money from the poor (very different to how our government have done it). In saying that I haven't read the terms of the deal.

I've been following this closely and am ashamed of the fool who is prime minister of Ireland for the comments he has made on our behalf.
Tsapris and his (then) finance minister fought a tough battle they could not win. They were up against Germany, who are running the show, and were not in with a chance of a write down simply because of the exposure that Germany would face in its own country.
I do believe that Germany are now trying to take Europe by stealth having failed to do so by war.

No Greek phelb got the country into trouble only the gangster's and the poli-~~~~s (politicians) and the embezzlers (entrepreneurs)
did all the damage and the poor man picks up the grief and hardship.
Its time to ditch the Euro gravy train and the USE United State of Europe ....Sorry I mean the EU
