smoking ban as been in force for sometime. now works alright in some public places, but in a pub or restaurant the inner door is opened also the outer door which totally defeats the purposeof a ban smoke wafts in from outside ,you can smell it when drinking or eating theres talk of stopping it in outside areas of pubs and restaurants can not come soon enough.
smoke gets in your eyes

<rant> Well I do hope that at the same time that they make the alcohol limit for driving as close as possible to 0 at the same time. On average 3,000 people are killed or seriously injured each year in drink drive collisions ALL of which are avoidable by having zero tolerance. Funny how the government do nothing with that isn't it? Perhaps it's the tax revenue from those extra pints or two that the government consider before peoples lives...... </rant_over>
My master plan is to live forever..... going to plan so far
Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.

As a previous smoker who doesn't and hasn't for a long time I'm all for live and let live yes it's a filthy habit but why don't they have pubs or restaurants that have smoking only policy and ones without. Open the door of your pubs and restaurants and breathe in the fumes from those empty buses that run up and down your streets every 2 minutes.smoking ban as been in force for sometime. now works alright in some public places, but in a pub or restaurant the inner door is opened also the outer door which totally defeats the purposeof a ban smoke wafts in from outside ,you can smell it when drinking or eating theres talk of stopping it in outside areas of pubs and restaurants can not come soon enough.Comment

Although I agree with the don't drink and drive policy I would like to see the data as I would have thought the majority or all drink drive related incidents would show that people would be well over limit.<rant> Well I do hope that at the same time that they make the alcohol limit for driving as close as possible to 0 at the same time. in scotland the new drink limit is 50mg in every 100ml of blood. which probally means you are in danger of going over the limit with a pint, a dont think it will ever be zero. aside from that meathead why is it every time i put up post and you contribute you show my profile there is no need i know my details, just curious<rant> Well I do hope that at the same time that they make the alcohol limit for driving as close as possible to 0 at the same time.
