Acceptable age gap in a relationship. your views?

So what is an acceptable age gap?

Going by the law for instance someone of 16 could be in a legal and sexual relationship with someone in there 50's.

There is 10 years give or take between my mother and father. Met her when she was 18 and he was 28.

Here I am now 28. I could not go with a 16 year old 😂 for a start what would we even have in common.

So what is an acceptable age gap?

I think you answered your own question. I know a lot of folk with age gap and you can see the differences but they all claim love prevails. You don't always need the same interests but you do need common ones hence same age group same common interests. Go with someone younger they may look after you in old age. Other way you look after them. A lot of younger people will entertain relationship with older people mainly because of sugar daddy or mummy making it easier start in life's big cauldron. If it's one night stands then who cares both benefit.

I always go for your younger, but big age gap even for me generally no more than 4 years. Think I may be following in my father's footsteps .

To be fair nice lassie, in contact each day but when it comes to taking it any further it doesn't progress unsure if it's down to the same doubts I have or game playing �� same time though can't say anything fortnight ago it was me that was brushing it off. Definitely something there.

In all honesty round here I'm not sure what's happened to my age group. Stuff injected in to there lips, under the eyebrow tattoos.

If I met a lassie my age and wasn't plastic had a good personality then fair enough. Age doesn't play the role. I have just found from experience that I've went for younger.

Personality and natural beauty are more important than some stuck up, self centered lassie, face made up like a plastic Barbie doll.

I don't think either of us have went out our way in the hope of something happening. We just seem to be clicking but at times forget but when it comes down to it both have reservations about the age gap.

The age gap doesn't bother me as in anyone else's opinion, that's it, its theres. It doesnt bother me that we probably have different social life's, how many partners do?

Joking aside she's a really nice lassie, we enjoy each others company and very mature. Funnily enough can't say the same for some others around my age.

I'd just worry I'd hold her back, not in anyway intentionally. She is also a young mum. So a lot of her time is taken up with being a parent, totally understand that.

I dont know case of boot up both of our bums and see what happens or see it as wrong time, wrong place.

Fleshy ones you have a risk of inflation on fuel and maintenance cost.

Whatever age it is there is still the ECU software that is totally unfathomable to normal males and buggy as hell.

Whenever you need it to do something that should be pre-programmed it ends up costing new handbags or shoes.

Noisy ECU's can be made to go quiet, just make sure that you use the right port and interface

Hey Garry,piece of advice here....


If the two of you are comfortable with each other,roll off each other(not literally),get along,etc,and your gut instinct doesn't tell you anything different,then go with it.

Time has a way of sorting these details out.Forget about the age thing,seriously....

As she's a young mum,support her as best you can,she will really appreciate it(Even though you're in a jock,at the moment)
