First of all don't think everything is so wonderful because you have had a holiday there.
Being somewhere on holiday and living and working in the same place are completely different !
I would recommend visiting the area that you are considering several times at different times of the year, go to the area without visiting the holiday attractions, use the local shops, visit the residential areas, find out the costs of medical insurance, find out if there is a need for your own particular skills or trade in the area. If you have children you'll need to find out about schooling and what's available and if they will have to travel to get there.
Then and only then, you can apply for a "Green Card" which is a permit for permanent residency and allows you to work there, have a good look through the site below to find out more about a "Green Card"
Having a Green Card (officially known as a Permanent Resident Card allows you to live and work permanently in the United States. The steps you must take to apply for a Green Card will vary depending on your individual situation.

As I said before, I would visit the area at different times of the year as well as it can make a big difference. Also remember that although they speak English in a similar manner they do have a different attitude and outlook on life and it is you that will have to adapt to that, there are also many Spanish speaking people in the area and it may be worth learning a little Spanish as well.
As for work then Google is your friend, just type in Orlando Careers or jobs or even specific job descriptions and you will find plenty of sites like below.
The #1 job board for Orlando and Central Florida. Search local jobs in hospitality, tech, healthcare & more. Post jobs or apply today.

              Pretty good strong advice above

Agree go out several times. Test the water.

Also yourself and wife may have very high qualifications but that's not technically going to allow you access. There looking for people with trades and careers that they are short on.
