You got to remember though, that cos there legs are shorter on one side, they can only run round the hill one way, so it depends on whether they ar right or left legged 
also, whilst they do camouflage themselves by blending into the background, if you wait until sunset, just before the last ray of sunshine disappears, then they become visible to the naked eye, without specialist equipment.
