You can record channels to by....

Selecting view on the taskbar Right Click, enable 'advanced controls' and a record button should appear. Press the button and it records

works brilliant, but when I right click on the taskbar I don't have a record button, is this on the select channel menu on vlc player

hi Chroma yes i do have vlc installed and tried to get the latest version but 0.99 comes up in the package manager, i think the prob im having is to do with executing the script than running vlc but i will ckk in the morning to make sure

is there any perl lib that i have to install i wonder?

Doubt its a perl library problem, im fairly certain ubuntu comes with some flavour of perl 5.xx.xx so that shouldnt be an issue.

Its more likely some kind of error with permissions, try executing via sudo temporarily and see if that works, if not execute permissions might be disabled and it cant link vlc.

wow wish i had seen this earlier, works great on main channels but error cant open on some of the others. but hey i dont care works in greece, and now i can watch uk tv hmmm been a long time, i was sure it was all shite that was on before i left

Mac version

Hi there,

been having some problems with the Mac version. When I try and run the program I get:

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libutil.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/British TV
Reason: image not found

Googling tells me that it's probably something to do with Perl, but I really don't know.

I'm running 10.4.11 on PowerPC (need a new laptop from Santa).

Any ideas?

this cannot be streamed from one STB. It will need one STB for each channel and the Upload will be far too much for any internet connection. The streams are either from a Studio or redirected streams.

Missing channels

I have been using british tv for about 3 weeks now and i has been great but I have never been able to watch either BBC 3 or 4. ANy ideas?
