dunno m8 it is written in perl i believe, im havin a look at the min to see if its possible to write it in a cmd file, if so all i would need is the ip address of the tv feeds to make a DK one

        who knows

So where is it getting its feeds from a Private server or satellite box connected to net or other source???

As some of those channels are on Sat only.

@mickydibble can you post more info on this firewall warning etc...

I have not tested again it since i installed it... and only gave it temp access while i tested it for 5 minutes.. However I will not try it again until we can verify that this is not trying to do something else...

i tried afew channells and some didnt work, but when vlc tries to load them it displays ip where its coming from, and all i remember is bullgaurd firewall stopped it from attacking a port! it did say ip address which i recognised from vlc trying to load one of the channels, mac address, and some other details which it then went off, how can i find out?

think this is the info notepad gave me from log ??:

i dunno m8 its posted on 3 forums that ive done and your the only one thats claimed problems, other than some channels dont work

Ive written a similar program which could be expaneded to lots of channels if we can get the feeds.
I have all the menus and everything all in place with media player and vlc

basically all i need is the feed address which is hidden in the rtmp feeds which are flv feeds usually mms:\\ or http:\\

if anyone can teach me a way to get them or get me the feeds themselves i will make a more complete program for us all to enjoy

                      heres hoping

Any idea of the source of the file or even the name of the author?

The source code would also be nice, really nice considering its a binary of compiled perl script.
The dissassembly spew and hex is fairly dense considering that the program isnt that complicated, there are thousands of nops (indicating the compiler was far from optimised) so there are branches, jumps and conditional jumps where there need not be. My debugger also shows a lot of needless memory operations, some of which i cant seem to figure any reason for.

All in all without an author or sourcecode reverse engineering will take me weeks to get a hacked up prototype due to the inexplicable parts of the exe that seem to serve no real purpose.

Why someone would use perl (an interpreted language) over a compiled language for a release is beyond me.

                        im interested none the less.

@chroma, i have already written a version in cmd which has all the menus etc all done the hardest part is the links, they are proving hard to obtain.
He has done something tricky with them, possible a redirect or proxy in the perl because if you extract the links out of his they dont work in a browser.

Plus all his streams come from one IP address which isnt really possible unless...

He is streaming from a tv box into a server and masking somehow where he is, streaming isnt hard to do after all
I had a look via ftp and the server definatly exists but i dont have the user pass etc

Updated with latest version including other links for Mac and Linux

Do you have VLC installed? the program merely forwards the stream into the VLC client.
