    Best memory from School

We were doing poetry, and Mr Smith (not real name) left us to our own devices and said when he got back he wanted to read out what we'd done in front of class.

So he gets back, and everyone just said, "I read this poem" out of some book we had. Then he got round to me and I said, "I've written a poem". His eyes lit up and he brought me to the front of the class so I could read it out. So it went:

    Heart aches, lungs pain,
It's Mr Smith (not real name) making us work again,
Isn't he ugly, isn't he horrid?
He's about as bad as my mother's porridge,

I really hate it when he gives me stick,
He's so ugly it makes me sick!

It was about twice as long as that and it went on to question his sexuality, but I forgot the rest and I'm afraid it's confined to history because he took my book off me and tore it up in front of the class.

The class was in hysterics, and I got suspended, but it was ace!

My best memory was the day i left

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

other than when i was kicked out of the classroom for doing one of the loudest and stinkiest farts i have ever done it was the day I left. That day while the bell was going we all punched the out fire alarm things on the walls in the corridors, the bells kept on going and we kept on walking....

Actually i do have a good memory. It was 1971 and the teacher who took our football team arranged for us to visit Melwood and watch Liverpool fc train. In those days Melwood was basically a field with a concrete fence around and wooden gated to the entrance. Thiinking about it, it hasnt changed that much.

Anyway we all watched the team training. Clemence, Smith, Keegan Hughes Toshack, they were all there. But the highlight was at the end when the great man himself Bill Shankly took the time to come up and talk to us. He was asking us about how we were doing in the football. He disappeared and comes back with a photo of the team autographed by everyone. Shakes my hand and gives me this photo ( we all got one off him ). Heres a bunch of scallys from Kirkby and Bill Shankly goes out of his way to make a fuss over us. One of my favourite memories of all time not just my school days.

I had thst picture upto a few years ago when we moved house. Don't know what happened to it Great memories of a great man.

shame how times have changed m8 most players or managers are too ignorant to talk to the public or young kids and cocoon themselves behind minders, mobile phones and ipods just to not sign an autograph or say hi to the kids

pis5ses me off when i have waaited with me kids for them to get autographs and they just walk on and pretend not to see them cos they are on the phone or they pretend they cant hear for their ipods

good manners costs nowt and something so trivial like to stop for an autograph or a simple hi can mean a lot to a young kid

one thing i liked about shankly though is he always said the greatest manager in the game was matt busby so i cant knock him for that

                        Just thought of another.

Once dropped me ruler or pencil or summat on the floor in a french lesson, had to go under the table to get it and saw straight up Miss Fairum's skirt, she had her legs quite far apart at the time so got a lurvly view of her white knickers.
You can imagine what effect that had on a 14 year old boy.

                        Ps... Miss Fairum was stunning.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I do not know the answer.
