cable and download links sections

i dont have cable and dont download music. this site is much more to me than that and has so much more to offer if peeps take the time to have a look around.

I dont see why, all has been removed, all the stuff is not hosted on server its only a reference to files with links relating to other place to acquire these files.

There was a case not so long ago with a large torrent site that was all over the news, they never hosted the files, and they won there case, and have no re-openeed.


If there an infringment with certain files or software, usually the RIAA pull it from the source i.e Rs,MS,usenet. As its them that are breaking the rules. Not the sites just providing inormation of were to get such stuff.


The arguement can also lead down to so google is breaking rules, They are allowing such stuff to be indexed.


Several times we be asked to take stuff down from rus, its never taken down as its legal content its only method of passing on information. Its up to them to pull plug on the source.

ok its time to keep the heads down and keep what sections we have alive until d/f can find a new host,so lets concentrate on posting ,welcoming new members, finding and reporting dead and dble post ,gives us time to spring clean

wonder if its something to do with microsoft they are barstewards they bought 2 dodgy copies of windows xp pro off me on ebid tested them and then threatened to sue me if i ever advertised there products again

i know they swarm ebay and have took loads of listings off there after threatening to sue ebay

most blow a fortune in buying counterfeits just too check authenticity

if you could find out what material was mentioned you may be able to just not put certain stuff out

but i know microsoft have pull from personal experience they scour the web for dodgy software and people are scared of them they are like the mafia and i know amongst our d/loads and links we have had a few dodgy links for dodgy vista and xp and such

so it could be a possibility

what about a secret section only accesible to people who you are sure are good and recomendations from members to admin for access

copyright more like jealousy,i only signed up yesterday and been on site looking around for about 6-7hours in total (i like reading),by the looks of it you have a great team,site has a wicked layout (easy to find stuff) and the community seems very helpfull what ever happend to the "one Big community" helping each other out!Same happend to myself and crew (but a different site to this ) kept taking us offline having to move from host 2 host ect ect as for making it invite only i agree with caveman_nige Good luck all involved!
