Ist post and likely to offend/upset some (the truth does hurt sometimes)
re Satkings, can accept that it may be a temporary blip, but be warned, do not use Dbros. Even a month ago, only to willing to take orders and have simply not delivered. They too have now 'gone', by diconnecting their telesales line.
Call me suspicious, but is this a coincidence?

I a not looking to disrespect anyone here, as I have had many years service with Satkings and the guys. Only trying to warn others so they do not find themselves in my position, as the sales web site is still up and running.

Backing up a page or two, I like the idea for a VIP transfer. It took me ages to build up my stats.

please dont take this the wrong way m8 but there are members here on dk who are still waiting for a VIP status that have been here for some time, just my opinion no offence meant..

This is surreal, it's like going on a night out with everyone splitting up during the evening, then finding you all in the police cells at six in the morning, pmsl!

I have to admit I will miss sk if it has gone, but this place looks a hell of a lot busier and will take some time to get about!

I've changed my nick slightly from phil to phil-h as I'm phil-h on virtually every other forum I inhabit, just call me predictable !

As for VIP status, I also was a VP on sk, even donated to the fund when one of the lads got burgled before Crimbo the other year. As for getting VIP status here, I really can't understand you asking about being given it, ! It's a totally different forum and we all have to start again. A tough one, I know as all the post counts have gone... all the contributions we have each made to help / advise others have gone, the scores on the arcade have gone, and it sounds like they may all be gone for good.

Like a bunch of bad pennies we have found each other out, and yeah I also feel like a refugee, but perhaps it's time to move on, if that is indeed what we have to do, but try to look on the bright side -

1: This looks a brill place to hang out.
2: Loads of new stuff to investigate.
3: Loads of familiar faces here from sk.
4: Loads of members here to help us if we need it.
5: Admin and members very happy to have us here.
6: If sk returns, TWO brill places to hang out.

Change the forum skin to charcoal and what more could you ask for?
