Help with txt files

Hi,

I'm not sure if it is the right place for a question, but I did not find other place to ask for help.

I can not open *.txt attachments, it opens a new blank ie page.

Please let me know if it is because I'm new on the forum or other reason, i've tested with several txt files and it's all the same, can't open.

Right click the txt file, select 'Open with' then select 'Choose Program'. Select Wordpad or Notepad and also check the box that says 'always use this program to open this kind of file'. Should open ok now.
