Which magazine did a report several months back and commented on the increased cost to run a plasma. It amounted to about ?30 / year on average so hardly worth worrying about!

I bought a LCD 18 months back but wish I had gone plasma now.

Bear in mind that big TV's magnify poor quality broadcasts, which look quite a lot worse than on standards TV's, and if looking in the shops understand what it is they're showing you. The TV's they want to sell will be set up to the best quality signals so will therefore look better than better TV's with poorer signals.

which is really meant for non techy users. I guess they went for the modern plasmas.back a couple of years ago, you got plasma tv's using an excessive 800W, so the EU outlawed them

Lose your memory sticks? Forget to backup? Why not get 2GB of free space online, and I get 250MB too
