    TV Licence

...Do you need to get one now or is it still possible to avoid paying for one?

Since September, the loophole on the BBC iplayer has been closed, but can one still watch other on demand programmes
& how will the BBC find out what on demand channels you are watching???

So whether you're watching live TV on a television, computer, tablet, games console, smartphone or any other device, you'll need to pay the fee.
Let me put this way, over 31% of students don't know watching live TV on a mobile requires a licence, is there any one in house without smart phone? Does that answer your (Q)
Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

Did you know People will question all the good things they hear about you but believe all the bad without a second thought.

But a device powered by battery is covered by the licence of your parents/friend/anyone you know. Mains only devices require a licence, for the property they are in. so student are ok.

well, back to this subject again..

I dont watch any BBC channel live or on demand... So I should be allowed to watch other TV like ITV without paying for the license..

All of my TV is downloaded (still none which are shown on BBC1). so do I stand my ground and say I dont need a license or is that inviting other issues?...

And if you check there wording they say any live TV broadcast not specifically BBC (sneaky or wot)....

Are they assuming because you have ability to watch it you will...?

They say you need a TV license to watch ANY live tv broadcast ( does not depend on language or where its broadcast from?) and now soon to watch BBC iplayer live or on demand nothing else is covered. The BBC Charter to offer you a tv license to watch Live TV.
To prosecute they have to catch you watching live TV very difficult thing to do? Most are prosecuted on confessing they did it!

Personally I can't see the point in watching the Cr*p on tv
DK is where the best entertainment is .....we are thinking of giving Meaty his own sub forum (hint to mods) I suggest Meaties Bicycle chop shop
