There a topfield freeview box going cheap on ebay. The geezer says it went wrong doing a firmware update.

He eventually bought a HUMAX PVR and is as impressed with it as I am with mine
Mine checks for an OTA update at 04.00 every morning !!
They do appear on FleaBay now and then.....
N.B The TOPPY is more HOMEBREW orientated than the HUMAX -- you need to set it up yourself when it arrives [new] -- the HUMAX works straight out of the box and is cheaper!!

Just for the record, I have one already, a toppy, and it is the best thing I have bought, that is why I wanted to get another cheap one for downstairs. Although the reviews say the humax edges slightly ahead.

Lol, I actually bought my mother a Humax, after bombarding her with my rantings of the digital video recorder. She is impressed with it, but I cant get to grips with it like I can my toppy. Your right about the toppy being homebrew. I have a few apps on there to make life easier. My stuff epg etc.Comment
