Some rather cool cats over at SWGEmu.com got the source code and are now implementing a private SWG server.
It's still in the development stages, so it's not excellent, but it is good.
If anyone is interested here is the program Launchpad Enhanced, just install an *genuine*
copy of SWG and install LPE, and it will automatically patch it up for you.
