I signed for 76Mbps speed few years back and since last year I noticed the speed dropped to 35.48Mbps and when I checked today I am now only getting 16.61 Mbps speed.
Technical service at plusnet told me every thing looks ok on our side; there could be some thing wrong with the rooter or your end wiring need to be checked.
The down side is he told me if the engineer finds the wiring is faulty we will charge you ?60 and if we find the rooter is faulty you will have to pay for the new rooter, he told me all equipments are 12 months warrantee.
Is this true we have to pay for equipments even when signed for extended contract with the same company?
