Need Cell-Phone signal "booster" for basement

My phone is from At&t / straighttalk.
I spend most of my life in the baement and phone reception signal here is dead. Some spots I might little signal sometime.

What kind or type of signal booster / amplifier etc will wok for me ?

(Not wifi boost, but the phone reception / LTE signal boost I need)

There used to be such devices, as an areial is passive get piece of coax split it 6" each way at both ends hang through a hole in the wall, see what happens
