What do you hate about Xmas?

Like every year the chrismas songs always comes back and are played the same again and again and again and.... again one more time!!!
also the big long queues in the shops and all the people turning around without knowing what they really want!

the pub full of people and takes ages to get served!

the chrismas card to send to people you said hello once!

to the family you spent chrismas with and argue at the end of the dinner. Instead of having a great night with your best friend!

the presents to buy to people you don't even know!

No public transport on chrismas eve, chrismas day!!

I better stop now or i will kill myself!!!

What I hate about christmas is having to be in so many places in so little time... Parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters... ect ect ect... I'll be glad once it's over especially with a 8 month old baby...

Been there myself, you might think it is getting better when he grows up you are mistaken mate!! mine is 2 years old and chrismas does not help!!!!

Would'nt say i hate christmas totally but the missus had me up the loft last night to bring down the decorations box and trees....yes plural. Pisses me off big time when she starts so went to bed...got up this morning and she had'nt finished and there was a tree with lights on at each side of the front door (outside) and 1 inside in the living room...give me a break it's just a 2 bed end terrace.....talk about doing it all with BELLS on.

anyways rant over for now hope the rest of you have a merry xmas

I hate the chaos of car parking and getting past other shoppers and quesues at the stores.

yeah i know but they just want to make their kids happy. some of my pals spend ?500 each on their kids which i think is outrageous.

I find with parents like this, it?s quite often done deliberately, they think it makes them sound good when they drop it into conversation..

I've got two kids, aged 6 and 4.. we have spent about ?200 all in, that includes my lads Birthday which was this week too..

I am Totally agree with you!!
I never got the things I wanted for chrismas when I was a kid but I was always happy about what I was getting!

thats the problem today some peole think its ok to spend x amounts of money they cant afford on kids xmas presents when all there doing is setting the bench mark for next years presents.....

I hate the commercialism, not to say I am a religious person I feel it is about families and not presents.

Call me Scrooge but we don't spend a lot on our kids and never have (not that we have the money to anyway) but our kids appreciate us being together more than the presents.

That is not to say I don't want to give them more but I have been brought up to respect the important things in life and I (and my wife) have hopefully passed that on to our children.

I have 4 kids and 2 grandkids...total bill (including other close family) for this year is under ?500 which I feel to be excessive.

Sorry if I am too bah humbug for folks out there but it ain't the cost that counts...teach your kids the value of love...not presents.
