New Unit of Time invented by Facebook

    https://youtu.be/LmPAcs5RUMM

A flick is a unit of time equivalent to exactly 1/705,600,000 of a second. The figure was chosen so that frequencies of 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60, 90, 100 and 120 Hz, as well as 1/1000 divisions of all those, can be represented with integers.[1] The unit was launched in January 2018 by Facebook.[2] A flick is approximately 1.42 x 10−9 s, which makes it larger than a nanosecond but much smaller than a microsecond.

Eh, what like a "smigin" is more than a teaspoon but less than a tablespoon?

No way Meaty, a smidgen is a lot less than a teaspoonful. More like a couple of pinches.
He who laughs last probably didn't get the joke.

My understanding is a flick off is a lot shorter that a f*ck off and a "hasta la vista baby" is considered a virtual forever time
Myself I consider the "little blonde one" the definitive time stamp

The only thing FB have invented is new ways to make more money from free information and how to spread it around and say sorry when the damage is done. No lessons will be learnt by it all though, and no-one damaged will receive a penny, though I'm sure the EU and ICO will do very well out of it thank you. Although FB will be able to write that off as a tax loss over may years and so avoid paying tax, to the extent that the very people who were wronged, the taxpayers, will foot the bill for them. How nice is that
