              lmfao

Showing people how to drive in ice and snow in a RANGE ROVER
How about a display in a clapped out 1992 1.2 Corsa or something that, you know, needs some kind of effort to get from A to B.

Im sick and tired of stuff being geared at these school run moms driving urban assault vehicles that get 2miles to the galon and essentualy require you to press a button and "gie it some wellie" to get up everest.

I want to see stuff geared at real people with real cars that you need to pat the dash and whisper sweet nothings to in order to get over a speedhump on a summers day, the kind of car thats got a busted old AM radio that only works if the left indicator is on.
The one with the winscreen wipers that only work when youve got the rear demister on and even then only one of them will work (usualy the passenger side) at a single geriatric speed.

Did you know that hot water freezes faster than cold water?
Its called the "Mpemba Effect" and has scientists baffled and causes heated debates as to why.
Some state its because hot water has less gas to slow the cooling down, but there are hundreds of explainations with no real proof as to which is the correct one.

Aye, I did, read up a little a while ago, a Kenyan student discovered it I think, wierd, pretty much all the energy required to freeze water takes place at the transition to ice stage, ie from 0,5C to 0C.. so the bit from 1 - 100c doesn't use much in comparison. but why it uses less is baffling.

I always use warm water to clear my windows. Love watching everyone scraping away and im 2 mins in the car and away.

Just warm to the touch does the job.

Learned a lesson years ago when i boiled the kettle and slung it over my dads windscreen on his new renault 11 after he asked me to get some water and clear the screen for him.

Big crack in windscreen and a sore crack for me after he houfed his size 10 right up it.
