think i will give it a try, can always take it back and say its shite, just looked @ it again today in asdas offer on till may or while stocks last, @mickyboy yeh just read the review m8 looks promising.

well as you know ive got the older model of this 10x optical zoom 7.1 mp, i think its great bit of kit for the money so 12x zoom 10mp even better. so only works out about a half a weeks beer tokens for you so buy it ya tight git

Hi m8... i have a s5800 8mp & 10x zoom... i have been using finepix cameras for a few years now and find them to be decent all rounders. i have found image quality to be good under most conditions. hope this helps. @manx.

i brought the camera but took it back because when shooting video u could here the zoom motor on the video and it was quite noisy, ended up with the sony cybershot h20 10x optical 10.1meg pix , i recorded some vid in the shop on my memory stick and took it home and tried it on pooter so far everthing is ok , but the battery is flat now so waiting till it charges to test the camera oot further. thanks all who gave me some input on the fuji, ive read reviews on the fuji and the problem seems to be with this model, the other models or ok, strange that.

brilliant m8 had one for 4 years now but its basic 3x optical the precision digital zoom on these cameras are amazing hardly any picture quality loss at all, this camera has hd video as well amongst other features, will post a few pics when i bin oot with it the shop gave me a written garuntee for 7 days to take it back if i dont like it, no iffs and buts
