Good pictures mate. Which camera did you use?

sony 10.1 meg pix 10x optical you can also use the 10x precision digital as well =s 20x with hardly any picture loss, thats what makes the sony compact cameras stand from the rest amungst the other features they have. ( which im trying out atm )

as others ahve said its a shame about the castle

youd think that it would be a listed building and if it was im sure the national trust or .gov would have too maintain it not totally sure

not sure what the crack is, if was national trust it would be open to the public to claw some money back, the trust is to much money oriented, ( no concessions for groups etc to their properties ) yet the english heritage is the opposite, the only reason its not maitained properly that i can think of is, it would cost to much to maintain properly but not get enough back from visitors. im going to google see what i can fing out.

u dont get to it off the A6, go into matlock ( not matlock bath ) take the A615 out when u get to tansley its a right turn, riber is sign posted, u will see the castle when u going along the A615
