    Hi
    I need help i bought a LG42 full HD TV and a sunsung HTZ120 dvd home cinema system I am trying to connect this to my tv which is lg 42 lh3000 model but i can not get sound from the tv when i play dvd its works the surround well maybe i doing something wrong please tell me how to connect it correctly this is connections on my dvd player

    these are connections on my dvd home surround player
    1)video out then aux in(l and r)
    2)green socket(written y)
    3)blue socket(written pb)
    4)red socket(written pr)

    on my tv connections are(component in)
    video green socket(y) blue socket(pb),red socket(pr)
    video written l&r then there is optical digital audio out then there is also a socket written audio in (rgb/dvi)
    please tell me how to connect and what types of cables will i need

    you can't do it with that system. You'll need to get a system with an optical input. I looked at your system and the spec on it is very poor and the price is extortionate for what you get (if you paid the going rate of ?95-?100). It's basically just a cheap DVD player with a few speakers, it doesn't even have a subwoofer. My advice is to send it back and get yourself a decent set up. Go to Richer Sounds and they'll advise you
