BBC iPlayer is bloody super, u seen it ?

As the title of this thread says, ive been trying the bbc iPlayer recently and what more can i say than its brilliant.....

you can see iplayer here >> BBC iPlayer - Home

I usually dont watch much tv programmes etc from internet as the picture quality is just rubbish, but bbc iplayer is different (hope i dont sound like an advert for bbc, hahahha).

If you have a great monitor, great graphics card and most important a great internet connection then you can simply select "view in high quality" mode and hey presto, its nearly as good as watching normal tv (well not quite, but you'll see what i mean if you check it out).

Anyways, i was impressed, and i thought i would share that with ya'z as i know that some other folk just like myself didnt even know bbc iplayer existed.

    have fun.

    <--Thomson added 22 Minutes and 23 Seconds later...-->

and thats on full screen size by the way.

There's also the same for ITV, ITV catch up, Channel 4 and Channel five.

They all have a similar thing where you can catch up any prgrammes you've missed.

The Bbc iPlayer though only stores the programmes for a week, the ITV page has programmes going back for a few months. Not too sure about channels four and five. But it is a very good feature.

You may find that Living TV has something similar. There's also another digital channel which does it but I don't remember who that is.

      Certainly handy though.

It's very good but, the only one I really wanted to watch, after forgetting to record it, was Match of the day and It's still not available

Agreed, used it for the first time Tuesday and was impressed... Also like the fact you can download the file, without having to go round the houses...

I watched that new comedy called The Cup, from BBC2. which wasn't too bad...

ive used this since it came out, i always watched my top gear on it as i always missed it on a sunday,

missus even uses it to catch up on eastenders when she misses it due to me watching footy.

another big bonus is they use quicktime so if you have an iphone you can watch iplayer on that, great quality too, great when your out and waiting for the missus i can just hook up and watch virtually anything off the bbc from the past week while i wait.

thought it was common knowledge about the iplayer or i would have posted this months ago,

iPlayer is good, but yeh this has been around for a while now. Was excellent to watch the apprentice when I was out in Canada for a while!! It's restricted to uk only use, but if you use a uk proxy service then you can still watch it. Thats my tip
