From the 1st interview I got a knock back but right out the blue I got a call to go and see this guythis morning.... and lo and behold he offered me the job...yippppeee!!!!!....start on monday

just thought i'd let you know that the jobcenter had told me ( on Monday when i signed on ) that you could claim for a new suit up to the value of ?100, if you brought along a letter proving you had an interview, they would send you to Burtons as they are doing a deal for ?79 with a shirt and tie for ?20...you get a voucher not cash.....so my new employers sent me a letter to come over on friday ( they had already gave me the job but were helping out ) BUT when i phoned them today ( the jobcenter ) they said THAT particular benefit had stopped yesterday because of new budgets.....the basads....means I will need to keep wearing that 20 year old one for a bit yet

It's bloody amazing how many benefits there are available until you actually try claiming for them Mate , that is of course unless you're an illegal immigrant or traveller , in which case , having paid bugger all into the system , you get the lot !!!
